Delaware City to Bombay Hook NWR and South

For: Waterfowl and other late winter visitors
Place: Painter’s Crossing, 7:00 a.m.

Note: Bring lunch. Trip is an all day trip. Minimal walking involved.
Directions: We will stop first at Dragon Run overlook on Route 9, and then we will travel down Route 9 stopping at various locations along the way until we get to Bombay Hook. After Bombay Hook, we will continue south to Port Mahon and keep going south until we run out of time. We will have a dinner near Dover then head home. This is an all day trip with no set finish time.
Carpooling: Meet at Painters Crossing, PA, on the northwest corner of US Routes 1 and 202. Departure time 7:00 a.m. Alternate meeting place: ABA Headquarters 93 Clinton St. Delaware City, Delaware at 8:10 a.m. Please contact leaders if meeting at the alternate location.
